Salon Suites

Business building ideas for our tenants.

Empowering Our Entrepreneurs

Our Salon Suite Blog is designed to pass along marketing and business building information to our tenants. Salon Suite owners are in a unique environment that require on-going marketing to grow their businesses. Today’s beauty professionals have tools today that did not exist a mere 10 years ago.

  • Prioritize
Most suite tenants have limited time and energy. Setting aside some time during your week for promotions is a good practice. It may be as simple as checking your Yelp listing, uploading your photos to Pinterest or contacting a local big employer to offer their employees a special discount.

  • Pipeline
Your client book may be full now, but a few mishaps can change that. Keep up a constant practice of self promotion to put new clients into the pipeline.  New clients bring refreshed word of mouth and great energy to your career. Their circle of friends can become your new circle of clients. Sometimes it can be as easy as always asking for a referral.

  • Natural Friendliness
It’s no secret that people who are attracted to the beauty business are naturally out-going, motivated and real people-people. Those tenancies are the key to your marketing plan.  Build on your natural strengths, creativity and hard work ethic. Building your client list is one of the pillars to growing your career.

  • First Impressions
One of the main reasons you were attracted to suite ownership was your freedom to create an environment that expresses you as creative and professional. Don’t let a ‘first impression’ chance go unused. Welcome new clients to your space, help them with their coat, offer them a beverage or come up with something unique to you and your suite to make that first impression last.

Make self promotion a natural process and you will succeed! That is time well spent!
